The project aims to facilitate a pathway for up-skilling the digital competences of individuals between the age of 55 and 75 years and to make them aware of some of the many opportunities that the Internet offers.<\/p>\n<p>The project will soon enter the phase of pilot testing in Malta and Germany, where Simbioza, together with other project partners, will carry out the ICT4 the Elderly curriculum together with 15 elderly participants. Lessons in English will be intertwined with classroom activities using a smart tablet and outside activities in Valletta and Berlin, where participants will use mobile phones to buy museum tickets and navigate their way through the city.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Simbiza hosted the third meeting of ICT4 the Elderly project partners between January 28 and 29, 2020.
