Simbioza was invited to participate at the OPENS Social Lab 2019 in Novi Sad to present its example of best practice. OPENS Social Lab 2019 is a conference on social innovations with one key message: changes are the only constant in our lives, so let’s make sure they are positive! The conference gathered over 100 young people from all over Europe with the aim of finding creative solutions related to digitalisation and technological innovation.<\/p>\n
At the conference, we shared out story. Simbioza started out as a one-week long intergenerational project in 2011, which started a wave of change. Youth and the elderly connected through learning about technology and digital skills, to which sports were later added as well. We became a sustainable and unique story in Slovenia \u2013 a practice, which we now share with the world. We wish for more \u2013 connectedness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
